Stuff

The new contest begins, below. But first...

Republicans accused the Los Angeles Times on Wednesday of protecting Barack Obama by withholding a videotape of the Democrat attending and speaking at a 2003 party for a Palestinian-American professor and admitted anti-semite, attended also by the terrorists William Ayers and Bernadine Dorn. The paper said it would not release the tape because of a promise to the source who provided it.

So, let's see if I understand this. Someone has a tape. They do not want the tape to be seen or heard. What to do? Give it to a newspaper, of course.

That is absolutely absurd! If you do not want something made public, you do NOT give it to a newspaper. The LA Times is obviously lying. And the only reason that comes to mind for doing so is to protect the person on the tape - Obama. So, what is on the tape that he needs to be protected from? I'm afraid we will not find out - at least, not before it's too late, if ever.

Here is what really happened. In April, the LA Times was endorsing Hillary. They obtained this tape - in April, by the way - for the express purpose of using it to hurt Obama and help Hillary. They then wrote a story about it, to discredit Obama.

But Obama won the primary, anyway. So now the LA Times endorses him. And at that point they decided to bury this whole story, and never show the tape. When Hillary was running, they wanted to hurt Obama. Now that Obama is the chosen one, they no longer want to hurt him - they want to help him. Even if it means suppressing evidence, and lying about why they cannot produce the tape. Because no one gives a tape to a newspaper if they want to keep it secret.

So much for honesty, integrity and objectivity in the media.

Well, folks, now we get down to serious business. This new contest will begin with a reasonably easy one to guess. The first person to email me with the exact make, model and year and the list of all owners since it left the assembly line will be the winner. Just kidding about that last part...make, model and year will suffice. Check out the picture here...
