Dialing 207

Someone asked who "Team 207" is, as they have not heard of it.

As far as I can tell from what I have seen at shows and heard from their members, they are a Club of car folks who drive Tuners. When you see a number of tuners at a show, there is a good chance many, if not all, belong to Team 207.

Team 207 - please correct me if I am wrong.

Hey Bill, Andy again. In some cases yes most if not all are Team 207 members. We currently are just a group of Tuners. We are not bias to just having Tuners in our group. We like to pride ourselves in being a group of individuals that enjoy cars just as much as the next guy. We also like to make sure our members look at every car with respect. As you can agree not everybody will agree with what we have each done to our own vehicle if like it at all but as car enthusiasts we need to look at the time, effort, and money put forth into that vehicle and respect the persons vision as their own. Every Team 207 member has a logo on their vehicle somewhere. Usually in the back window or quarter glass of the car. Please feel free to ask any other questions you might have for I am more then open to answering them all. Thanks Bill.

Question for you Bill regarding Team 207. It was brought to our attention today from a couple of other members. We had a meeting today with our members. A couple of them stated that a couple of individuals at one of the recent shows approached a couple of our members and told them they refuse to vote for any of our members because we are "trophy hunters". I'm curious to if you have heard this statement before where you have a very good ear into the car shows in and throughout Maine. I this statement is true we, as a group, have elected to go to shows for the remainder of the year and not register for trophies just to prove to others we are there to show our vehicles with pride. We are not there just to win a, in some cases, plastic trophy that in the end will do nothing but collect dust. Sure it is great and rewarding to win but we prize ourselves as a team to going to shows to enjoy ourselves and give a positive vibe. We do not want these misconceptions of our group to be going around if there is any truth to it.
